BEST EATS...

Food in Amman did not disappoint. We had great meals at Sufra, Hashem (for falafel) and Fakhreldin. Our best meal was by far at Fakhreldin where the service was impeccable. I can only higly recommend this place

BEST SLEEP

We stayed at the Mövenpick at Petra, considering it was off-season and being located directly in front of the Petra complex it made sense. We definitely recommend this hotel. Breakfast was included, which was nice, but nothing extraordinary. I would've expected more.
In Amman, we stayed at an Airbnb located near Rainbow Street. In terms of location, it was great, however the apartment could've been bigger and cleaner. Overall it was okay.

SIGHTS & ACTIVITIES

The highlight is of course Petra, you can't compare it to anything else. Ideally, it would be best to spend 2 full days at Petra at least so you can factor in a few hikes up the mountains and all have a chance to see the Monastery, which we had to miss.
Jerash is also worth the trip but it is brutually hot in the summer. Amman can be covered in a day, so don't plan too much time there.
