BEIRUT

What can I possibly say about Beirut that hasn't already been said? Beirut is a fantastic city. This is was my second trip and the Lebanese never cease to amaze me. Their hospitality and openness is unparalleled. Beirut is crazy, fun, and extraordinary, and the food is to die for.

BEST EATS...

Where do I even start? Lebanese food is one of the best things I've ever tasted, and here's some of our favourite spots:
- Babel: a fantastic spread of seafood. The highlight being "Fatet el gambari" or "Shrimp Fatta"
- Em Sherif: come here if you want all the typical Lebanese yummies.
- Street food vendors: all the pastries and shawermas that your heart desires.

BEST SLEEP

We stayed at an AirBnB, located fairly central in the city. The apartment itself was alright but nothing to write home about. The water in the bathroom was a little brown though. The pipes could've probably used a cleaning.

SIGHTS & ACTIVITIES

Things to check out in Beirut:
- Raouché: As one of the most iconic image of Beirut, it's an absolute must-see
- Harissa: Enjoy fabulous panorama views of the beach and city.
- Music Hall: Absolutely wonderful experience, great music, talented artists, and one hell of a crowd. Definite highlight of the trip
